At the heart of psychotherapy lies the quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist. To establish a strong therapeutic relationship, I strive to understand who you are and how you became the person you are today. I also would like to share a little about myself and my background.
In 1999, I began a professional journey, aspiring to contribute to people’s well-being. Prior to my immigration to the U.S., I worked for a business corporation in Japan. Despite financial stability, this career was not emotionally rewarding for me. In a quest of finding my life purpose and meaning, I departed from my familiar life and began a new journey in Colorado. While I was fascinated with a new culture and life style, at times, my mind was preoccupied with unbearable loneliness, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Working through these challenges has helped find my true passion for helping enrich people’s lives and I developed the capacity of being present with my clients.

Believing in my vision and approaching countless obstacles, one step at a time was the way I have overcome the challenges of the last twenty years. Courage to be vulnerable gave me strength. My success was not only attributed to my own determination and resilience, but also to the people who believed in me. Connection with these people gave me a sense of hope, purpose and meaning in my life. Eventually, I discovered the most inspiring, challenging, and sacred profession.

I am grateful for discovering my passion of assisting people in finding a deeper connection to oneself, others, and the world through psychotherapy. I have great appreciation for those who have trusted me to open their hearts and shared their healing journeys with me. I honor their courage for healing and cherish a sense of togetherness on their path.
